I started using the name Pretty Things about 8 years ago, my brother was starting up my website and he needed to typ in a name but i had never thought about it and just quickly said Pretty Things, thinking i might change it later. as it happened, Pretty Things turned out to be a cool name that people liked and after a few years i added on the 'life is filled with....', i can't remember why but it just kind of happened one day.
now i am not in the same place as 8 years ago, alot has hapened in my life! i mean ALOT! not all god but not all bad.
my art is changing, i am moving in different directions and sooooo i wanted to change a few things. i want to start and Etsy store, not right now but i have reserved my name:
{Rusty Angel Art}
so i added it on with my blog title. where does this name come from? well, i was born op North of England, Hexham to be more specific, raised in Throckley, Newcastle. we have a huge piece of art up there (in Gateshead) called the Angel of the North aka the rusty angel seeing it actually is all rusty now.
so i wanted to link to my roots and seeing that i love angels, paint angels due to the lovely Suzi Blu (best class ever!!!), know all about rusty things like rusty faith for one lol... don'task, i'm working on it
Hey there. Happy New Year to you too! I don't make resolutions either. However, I am determined to complete some half-finished (half-started??) projects I have laying around. I have a need to tidy up - SIMPLIFY - as my friend Kim says.
